TORONTO–TikTok has launched its first-ever ad campaign in Canada, It Starts on TikTok,” which celebrates diversity, trends, stories, conversations and more that are born and celebrated on TikTok and explode in popularity, delivering cultural and social impact on and off-platform.

This multi-channel campaigns span social, digital media, out-of-home, and linear TV to celebrate all that’s uniquely TikTok. The ad first aired on TSN during the NBA finals game 5 and MLB post-season games.

The campaign is centered around a 30-second ad that encapsulates the stories of the Canadian creators who have made an impact through TikTok. It also highlights some of the today’s most-recognized online trends and popular songs. And it showcases the role that TikTok has and will continue to play in the lives of hundreds of millions of people.

  • Bomanizer– Boman Martinez-Reid, an actor and artist based in Toronto, creates hilarious parodies of reality television on TikTok to help people smile.
