Toronto, ON — The Canadian Association of Marketing Professionals (CAMP) is pleased to announce a collaborative agreement with the Direct Marketing Association of Canada (DMAC) for its second annual Marketing Awards.

The awards, which launched in 2015, recognized excellence in the Canadian Marketing Community in specific marketing facets such as Brand, Digital, and Video marketing, as well as achievements in the Corporate, Small to Mid-Size, Entrepreneur, Not for Profit, Start-up and Business to Business (B2B) worlds. This year, a new award, the ‘Direct Marketing’ award, sponsored by DMAC, will recognize excellence in direct marketing.

“We are thrilled to work with DMAC for our 2016 Awards,” commented Nadine Evans, CEO of CAMP. “The CAMP Awards recognize excellence in all types of marketing endeavors, and direct marketing is a significant part of what marketers need to focus their attentions on today.”

CAMP’s Marketing Award nominations opened on May 15th and runs until July 22nd. Three finalists will be announced in each category, with the final winners announced at CAMP’s annual Awards Gala on November 2nd. The Awards will be judged by a panel of marketing experts and leaders, and will be announced early October.

“Industry associations all exist to help marketers be better at what they do,” said Derek Lackey, President of DMAC. “It’s an honour to work with CAMP to acknowledge great work in our industry. We’re proud to introduce the Direct Marketing Award through this platform,”
