Amy Pawluk has joined fundraising experts Blakely as executive vice president, new business development, a role in which she will be heading Blakely’s US business as well as new business development here in Canada.
With more than 20 years of accomplishments in fundraising and marketing, she is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and most recently, she was president of Up Fundraising, bringing exciting experiential fundraising tactics to the Canadian and US charity marketplace.
She was chair of AFP Congress in 2015 and serves on the AFP Greater Toronto Chapter board of directors, as well as other AFP committees.
“I am so excited to be joining the superstar team that Blakely has built,” said Amy. “Everything from the level of client service and the strong client relationships they build, to the team and family culture of the organization that truly focuses on developing talent, to their long term strategic thinking and planning. It’s so aligned with how I work that when the opportunity was presented, it just seemed like a perfect fit. It was a difficult decision to leave the company I built, but I’ve always wanted to apply my passion for fundraising in a broader context and to have the opportunity to do so while working with the talented minds on the Blakely team is incredibly exciting!”
In addition to new business, Amy will be focused on strategy development for current clients’ programs and projects, as well as new product development, helping clients seize exciting opportunities before they hit the marketplace.
