ALC-Aristotle partnership capitalizes on growth in contributions as hot-button issues prompt more people to give
PRINCETON, NJ — ALC announced the launch of a new product today that will significantly expand the universe of known donors available to fundraising organizations. Donor Precision, powered by Aristotle, features a database of over 3.5 million contributors culled from over 110 million transactions, with the ability to segment by recency, donation amount, and type of cause.
Donor Precision brings the smart data marketing expertise of ALC together with Aristotle’s best-in-class donor data to create a powerful new resource for multichannel prospecting, donor enhancement, and modeling and analytics.
“It’s been quite a while since the fundraising community has benefitted from an influx of new donors with the targeting specificity of Donor Precision,” remarked Britt Vatne, President of ALC Data Management. “We are excited to bring this to market at a time when fundraisers are looking for effective new solutions.”
Donor Precision, which is updated on a quarterly basis to ensure its ongoing dynamic growth, has all the makings of a top-performing data resource. Besides scale, it offers RFM segmentation, demographic selections, and over 20 different types of nonprofit sectors. Even with these refinements, the universe of key segments is impressive:
- 3,498,000 Last 24 Month Donors
- 1,483,000 Last 12 Month Donors
- 1,463,000 Last 24 Month $100+ Donors
- 725,000 Last 24 Month $250+ Donors
- 645,000 Donors to Animal Welfare Causes
- 386,000 Donors to Health/Disease Causes
- 265,000 Donors to Military/Veterans Causes
- 325,000 Donors to Pro-Life vs. Pro-Choice Causes
- 1,520,000 Donors to Religious Causes
“Historically, election years bring out passions in people that lead to an influx of new donors opening their wallets and putting their money behind the causes they believe in,” stated Andrew Tavani, Aristotle’s Vice President of National Sales. “This year is certainly no exception,” he added, ”with such polarizing issues as abortion rights, environmental issues, healthcare, and 2nd amendment rights all being hotly debated.”
The data is sourced via state records comprised of reported donor information from nonprofit organizations, campaign contributions, and PACs. This information includes both the giver and recipient of the donation, along with transactional data. Aristotle is the only source that gathers this information from all reporting states and maintains meticulous hygiene and validation procedures.
