AffiliateTraction has worked closely with to rapidly launch a Canadian-centric discount online marketplace modeled on their successful U.S. website. Branded as, the new site promises to place an emphasis on products and offers from Canadian brands and retailers. The effort was bolstered by AffiliateTraction’s extensive Canadian client portfolio and local expertise. By working closely with AffiliateTraction Canada, was able to quickly incorporate top Canadian brands into the new website.

Greg Shepard, CEO of AffiliateTraction, explained why the effort is unique within the affiliate channel, “While many outsourced program managers try to work with existing affiliates in their own country, we are proactively looking for opportunities to help develop affiliates so they may extend their reach both domestically and internationally. This means we are in the business of leveraging partnerships to develop the affiliate channel as a whole so that performance-based marketing captures a larger portion of overall online business.”

The effort is part of an internal project at AffiliateTraction to create powerhouse affiliates in emerging markets. Many of these affiliates have developed a relationship with AffiliateTraction in local markets that enables the agency to secure placements on the performance of sales rather than payment for traffic through CPM (cost per thousand impressions) or CPC (cost per click). These unique partnerships are then carried over into new markets to help develop the affiliate channel as a primary means of paying for advertising; a major boon to brands and retailers looking to reduce risk while limiting up-front costs. praised AffiliateTraction’s ability to assist in quickly developing the new site, “Working with AffiliateTraction Canada has been a truly valuable experience. As a result of the effort, AffiliateTraction clients have seen rapid growth from placements. In just four months, the revenue generated for AffiliateTraction clients through increased five fold. Of its multiple international Savoo sites, is now among the top-ranked in terms of revenue generation to date.

AffiliateTraction has placed some of their top Canadian clients in, including Home Depot Canada, Wholesale Furniture Brokers, Cosmo Music, SoftMoc, Ardene, Nygard, Mint, French Connection, Marks, Canada Post, Bench, WagJag, SportChek, Go Gear, and IceJerseys.
