RP Graphics Group has been present in the Toronto market since 1958 and has been owned by George Mazzaferro since 1978. Mr. Mazzaferro will continue with the firm as a member of Lowe-Martin’s executive team. Marc Fortier, president of RP Graphics Group, will manage Lowe-Martin’s business in Toronto.
“RP Graphics has a great reputation for customer service and innovation,” said Ward Griffin, CEO of the Lowe-Martin Group. “It is a pleasure for me to welcome George Mazzaferro and Marc Fortier to our executive team. I look forward to working with them and the RP Graphics staff as we continue building our national footprint.”
Mr. Mazzaferro emphasized the benefits the acquisition would bring to the customers and staff of RP Graphics. “We have always worked to be on the leading edge of developments in our industry. Joining the Lowe-Martin Group will take our capabilities to another level.”
The expanded Lowe-Martin offering now includes: publications printing for more than 275 titles, high-quality offset printing, direct and multi-channel marketing, online ordering, mobile application development, wide-format printing and distribution. At the recent Canadian Printing Awards gala, Lowe-Martin and RP Graphics won nine awards, including silver in the ‘Most Environmentally Progressive Printer’ category.
Mr. Griffin was enthusiastic about the acquisition. “We continue to bring great service and great products to the market. This acquisition strengthens our offset and digital printing offering, expands our mailing services and gives us more wide-format options. With the addition of RP Graphics to our team, the Lowe-Martin Group can deliver the highest-quality products at any run length. Our customers can look to us for all their printing, distribution and mailing needs.”
