MONTRÉAL, QC–Corporation Geekco Technologies Inc. is becoming a partner of the Retailers Association of India (“RAI”) to introduce its TellMe platform to the Indian retail market. India will become TellMe’s first international market, marking a significant step in the Company’s commercialization strategy. The partnership brings together RAI’s nationwide retail network, representing more than 600,000 retail outlets across the country, and TellMe’s consumer discovery, business activation and analytics capabilities.

A substantial opportunity for TellMe
“With an estimated population of 1.46 billion, approximately 12 million retail outlets, a retail market projected to reach US$1.6 trillion by 2030 and a reputation for being an early adopter of new technologies, India is a strong fit for TellMe. TellMe was built for large markets and designed to handle high volumes of data. Its architecture, innovative features and ambition to build a global community connecting consumers and retailers make India a natural market for TellMe,” said Mario Beaulieu, Chief Executive Officer of Geekco.

“RAI brings an extensive and trusted retail network; TellMe provides the technology to activate those connections and measure their impact. Through a single application, consumers can discover nearby businesses, promotions, exclusive offers, events and job opportunities. Starting with concentrated retail clusters and expanding progressively, we aim to help independent merchants and national brands increase visibility, generate traffic, recruit employees and gain actionable insights into consumer behaviour, customer engagement and business performance through insights,” added Mr. Beaulieu.

“Through its initiatives and close relationships with its members, RAI helps national chains, department stores and independent retailers discover and adopt innovative solutions like TellMe that support retail growth. Combined with India’s consumer scale and retail density, it represents an attractive environment for TellMe. As part of these initiatives, I am pleased to announce that we will be present at RAI’s Retail Leadership Summit in Mumbai in February 2027. This flagship annual retail event brings together senior executives from the most prominent retail organizations, technology providers and industry stakeholders,” Mr. Beaulieu concluded.

Introducing TellMe through RAI’s industry ecosystem
The planned introduction of TellMe will combine a digital outreach strategy with industry engagement. Activities are expected to include communications to RAI’s retail community, social media initiatives, educational presentations and webinars, speaking roles in panel discussions, and participation in relevant events, conferences and exhibitions.

These initiatives will aim to build awareness, demonstrate TellMe’s practical applications and support merchant adoption. Consumer acquisition activities will complement retailer onboarding to help participating locations reach an engaged local audience.

Local distribution and a phased deployment strategy
Alongside its initiatives with RAI, Geekco has begun seeking a local partner in India to support TellMe’s distribution, merchant onboarding and local market development.

The Company is also developing a proposed three-phase deployment project, with objectives ranging from an initial deployment at 500 retail locations to an eventual expansion to up to 100,000 locations across India.

Geekco is at the forefront of innovative technology solutions that are reshaping modern marketing while driving economic activity across cities and neighbourhoods by connecting consumers and businesses like never before. TellMe is a consumer discovery and business activation platform developed by Geekco. It connects consumers with nearby businesses, promotions, exclusive offers, events and job opportunities, while giving merchants tools to increase visibility, generate traffic, recruit employees and understand consumer behaviour through performance analytics and customer insights — all within a single, integrated application.

RAI is a national association supporting the development and modernization of India’s retail industry. Its membership represents more than 600,000 retail outlets across the country. Its network includes national chains, department stores and independent retailers serving communities across urban and rural markets. Through policy advocacy, national and regional events, education and training, research and knowledge sharing, RAI helps retailers adopt best practices, develop their workforce and respond to changing consumer expectations.
