Environics Analytics (EA) announced today that it has acquired the business and assets of Pivotal Contact.
Under terms of the agreement, Pivotal Contact will integrate its expertise in data management, advanced analytics, modelling and customer engagement into EA’s offerings in marketing and analytical services. These synergies are intended to provide EA clients with a broader spectrum of data-driven services – from data supplier to analytics roadmap development – to meet the market’s changing needs.
“With Pivotal Contact, we now have even more expertise to help Canadian marketers connect with their customers and grow their businesses,” said Jan Kestle, president of Environics Analytics. “We are very excited about the new opportunities this will allow us to offer to both companies’ customers.”
“EA has long been the ‘go to’ resource for third-party data and actionable insight across the country,” said Evan Wood, president of Pivotal Contact, who will become senior vice president of custom services at EA. “Now clients can also benefit from EA’s expanding range of services to help them implement data-driven decision making. With Pivotal Contact and EA joining forces, we are now the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of data and analytical services.”
In today’s information-driven business environment, Kestle expects the acquisition of Pivotal Contact to bolster EA’s data, insight, and marketing strategy offerings to help organizations achieve their revenue goals. Since its inception 12 years ago, EA has become the leading marketing services and data analytics company in Canada. The Toronto-based firm has developed a lengthy client list by providing proprietary data, purpose-built software and industry-focused analytics consulting to help organizations better understand their customers and markets.
